How to Fix windows 10 mouse/keyboard problem

Windows 10, it's nice, but it is not always reliable, especially with some slightly older PCs.Sometimes on a boot, the mouse and keyboard do not work, so, one wonders whether to reinstall or not. The answer is fortunately not! Here is a short tutorial to fix this nasty bug for good.

Get the keyboard and mouse

This is the first step of our adventure in the wonderful country of very heavy bugs. For this, first turn off your PC (it's not as if you had the choice of any eh way) then turn it on and turn it off again for loading Windows.
Yes, it sounds weird, but it is the only effective way to recover its mouse and keyboard. Indeed, we must know that the problem is related to hybrid power management. By doing so, you erase certain settings saved by Windows.
Now you are basically recovered keyboard and mouse! You could live like that, but you can definitely fix the problem with a simple little manipulation.

Correct the bug keyboard / mouse

To fix the bug, we have to modify the action of the Windows shutdown button. To do this, simply follow the little guide below:
  • Go to the "Start" menu of Windows 10
  • Go to "Settings"
  • Go to "System"
  • Go to "Power and Standby"
  • Go to "Additional Power Settings"
  • Go to "Choose what the power button" (left column)
  • Click "Edit settings currently not available"
  • Unchecked "Enable Quick Start (recommended)"
  • Click "Save Changes"
  • It's over !
